Notification email add-on

The Notification emails are essential for those who want to keep track of their new submissions anytime and anywhere.

We suggest default templates for notification emails. However, you are also allowed to fully customize your email template with us. For this reason, we recommend you use the Notification email addon.


To activate it, please:

  • Go to the Settings.

  • Add-ons section.

  • Click on the Open Add-ons.

  • Add the Notification Email addon to your form.


We have compiled some elements of Special fields and shortcodes of your form fields, so you'll be able to easily add those elements to your Notification email content.
Just simply DRAG elements and DROP them to a template.

Special Fields:

  1. {Entry}: If you want to receive all the submitted data by users, add this element to your Notification email content.

  2. {ID}: Get a notification email with a unique ID number.

  3. {Form_Name}: Displays the name of your form in the received email.

  4. {Entry_Date}: Adds the date of submission into the template.

  5. {Entry_IP}: set to receive the user's IP Address along with the general submission.

  6. {Link}: set a confirmation link clicking on which users will verify their submission.

Form Fields:

Based on your created fields you will get shortcodes that can be easily modified by you.

How to add a link to the email content

For that go to the Form Settings > Add-ons > Confirmation E-mail > Customize.

As the Mail Editor opens, double click on the word that you want to link and click on the link icon.

Then, select the word again (just a single click this time), click on the gear icon on the settings bar and add your link. It should be added in https:// format.

Make sure to Save and Close the template after adjustments.

How to add an image to the email content

For that, please:

  • Go to the Settings.

  • Add-ons section.

  • The Notification/Confirmation E-mail add-on.

  • Click on the Customize button.

1. In the Mail Editor window, simply Drag and Drop the IMAGE element to the email content. Then copy the web address of your image and paste it to a field.

2. To upload an image from your computer, go to Wix Media Manager.

  • Click Media

    on the left side of the Editor.

  • Upload Media.

  • Click on the three dots.

  • Copy URL.

  • Paste it to the Image link field on the Mail Editor.


To save the changes, click on the "Save and Close".
