Seat Map Add-on

​In the world of event planning, customization and convenience are key. Planning an event has never been easier or more efficient, thanks to the introduction of our Seat Map feature.

The Seat Map brings both by allowing organizers to create interactive seat maps tailored to their unique venue layouts. Whether you’re hosting a concert, conference, theater performance, or corporate seminar, this feature ensures that your attendees can view and select their preferred seats with just a few clicks during the ticket booking process.

To install the add-on follow the steps:

  • Go to your editor page and double-click on the calendar.

  • From the settings window choose Add-ons section.

  • Open Add-ons store.

  • Hover over the Seat Map and click on add to site button.

The add-on opens up with a dashboard. Click on "Add now" button to create your first seat map.

Once you click on add-now the default map will appear with the stage and seats. You can move them around through the blank spaces of the dashboard. On the right side there's the settings menu.

Each object can be edited, deleted, duplicated and rotated. Click on the object to see the option buttons.

Let's go through the settings that we offer. The first section is general and allows you to set a name or rename the seat map created.

The next section allows creating seat groups. You can customize the title, the rows and columns, the icon type, the color of it, as well as the stretch and curve. Click the create button to add the new element.

The section with the shoe icon is for creating standing areas. There you can assign a ticket, regulate the sizes, and color.

Next, we've got the table seats section. Again, fully customizable.

To add some finishing touches to your map, we've created a section with a variety of objects that you can place all over the area.

Lastly, you can add a text element.

After the final setup of your seats, you can now assign the tickets to each seat as well as change the label of it. The seats can be selected by groups as well; just press and swipe through the seat row, and it will select several seats at once. It's easier to assign a ticket to the grouped seats.

Once all set, hit the save button. Now, you've got your first seat map here on the dashboard!

To activate it for a certain event, please go to your manage events section and select the event. You'll see the seat map section, where you can either create a new one or select the created one for use. Hit next and save after your selection.


All set! Now, when registering for the event to buy tickets, the customers will be able to choose the seats that already have assigned tickets. They will be displayed on the top right corner of the page.

Finally, they'll be able to see the seats they bought on the ticket.
