Monthly view displays all events planned or completed within the selected month. It uses a classic calendar layout, with the current month shown by default.

You can easily navigate to previous or upcoming months to explore past and future events.

You can customize this view in Settings > Layouts > Monthly.

Fixed weekly layout:

For a more consistent experience, you can choose to display a fixed number of weeks (6) each month, regardless of the month's actual length.

Additionally, you have the option to remove the header from the monthly layout for a cleaner appearance.

Overnight Cut Off

The Overnight Cut Off option helps control how late-ending events are displayed in the Monthly view.

By default, the cut-off time is set to 4:00 AM.

In the monthly layout, events are displayed as horizontal lines when no additional design customizations are applied. When an event spans across midnight, the line normally extends into the next day.

For example, an event that starts on June 23 at 12:00 PM and ends on June 24 at 1:00 AM may appear as a two-day event, which can be confusing for visitors.

With Overnight Cut Off, you can choose a specific time (such as 4:00 AM).
If an event ends before the selected cut-off time, it will remain visually on the previous day only, instead of extending into the next day.

This helps keep the Monthly view cleaner and avoids giving the impression that short overnight events last multiple days.

Tips

  • Evening events: Perfect for events that start in the evening and end after midnight but should still appear as one-day events.

  • Classes & workshops: Keeps late-ending sessions from looking like multi-day events.

  • Parties & nightlife: Helps avoid confusion when events end in the early morning hours.

  • Default works for most cases: The 4:00 AM cut-off fits typical overnight schedules.

  • True multi-day events stay unchanged: Events that actually span multiple days will still expand correctly.

You can find this option in Settings → Layouts → Monthly → Overnight Cut Off.
