Why Are Synced Events Visible but Not Editable?
When events are synced from an external source—such as Google Calendar—into Boom Calendar, they behave differently than events created directly in Boom Calendar.
How Synced Events Work
Synced events:
Appear in your Boom Calendar.
Show on your live site.
Cannot be edited in Calendar Settings → Manage Events.
This is because synced events must be managed in their original source. Boom Calendar displays them, but it cannot override the data coming from the external calendar.
How to Edit Synced Events
To make changes:
Open the external calendar where the event was originally created (e.g., Google Calendar).
Edit or delete the event there.
The changes will automatically update in Boom Calendar.
Common Scenario
Event is visible on the live site but not in Manage Events:
This means it’s a synced event and must be edited in the source calendar.
