When uploading images to your Boom Event Calendar, you can control how they appear using the Image Fit Mode options found in the Advanced Settings of your calendar. These options help you avoid unwanted cropping and ensure your images display exactly the way you prefer.
By default, the Image Fit Mode is set to Cover. You can change this at any time from the Advanced Settings if a different display style works better for your images.

The image fills the available space while maintaining its aspect ratio.
Some cropping may occur, but the result is a clean, full-frame appearance.
Recommended for:
Event flyers
Poster-like images
Images with background space around the subject
Landscape photos
Tips:
Avoid placing important text near the edges, as it may be cropped.
Works best when the main subject is centered.
✔ Contain
Displays the entire image with its original size and proportions, without cropping.
The image will appear exactly as it is, maintaining its natural dimensions inside the container.
Recommended for:
Images with important text you don’t want cut
Logos
Portrait-oriented images
Photos where the full subject must stay visible
Tips:
Best choice for detailed images or text-heavy visuals.
Great for maintaining the original layout of your artwork or informative images
✔ Fill
Stretches the image to fully fill the space.
No cropping occurs, though the image may slightly adjust its shape to fit the area.|
Recommended for:
Simple graphics
Abstract backgrounds
Solid-color or pattern images
Tips:
Avoid using photos of people or objects that may distort.
Works best with minimalistic or flexible designs that still look good when stretched.
