Boom Timeline is designed to work seamlessly with Wix Events. Once installed, the app automatically synchronizes with your Wix Events and displays them in a timeline view on your website.
How the sync works:
When you create, edit, or delete an event in Wix Events, the change is automatically reflected on your Timeline widget.
The Timeline pulls all event data from Wix Events, including: event title, description, image, date and time, location, and category.
No manual sync or add-on activation is required — the connection is built in.
Important notes:
All event management (creating, editing, deleting events) must be done in Wix Events — either from your Wix Dashboard or in the Editor through the Wix Events dashboard (Manage Events). The Timeline app is a display widget only and does not provide event editing capabilities.
If changes do not appear after updating an event, try reloading your Editor or refreshing the published site.
Canceled Wix Events will still be visible on the Timeline. Only deleted events are removed from the Timeline display.
