Why Are My Events Not Showing on the Timeline?

Troubleshoot common reasons why your Wix Events may not appear in the Timeline widget.

If your events are not appearing on the Timeline, check the following:

1. Events exist in Wix Events Make sure you have created events in your Wix Dashboard under Events. The Timeline syncs directly with Wix Events and will not display anything if no events exist.

2. Check the Filter Events setting Open the Timeline Settings panel and look at the Filter Events option. If it is set to "Future," only upcoming events will be shown — if all your events are in the past, switch the filter to "All" or "Past" to see them. Similarly, if it is set to "Past" and you only have upcoming events at the moment, no events will be displayed. Switch the filter to "All" or "Future" in that case.

3. Events are published Ensure your events in Wix Events are published and active, not in draft status. Only published events are synced to the Timeline.

4. Publish your site After installing the Timeline or making changes to your Wix Events, make sure to Publish your website for the changes to appear on your live site.
