If you want to showcase only upcoming events, we have the option which will let you remove your past events from the Agenda/Map/Card/Cross/Timeline views.
For that follow these steps:
Double-click on the Calendar to open the Settings tab > Layouts section > Agenda/Map/Card/Cross/Timeline> check the Show only upcoming box.
Thus your past events won't be displayed and only upcoming ones will be showcased in those view.
