With our Calendar, you have an option to see event details by clicking on the event.
There are two designs for that; Pop-up and tooltip.
Also, you can choose to show nothing. You can find them on Settings' General section.
Tooltip:
If you select tooltip design to show your event info, you get this look. It reminds more of a vertical solution. If you don't have much info in your description, the tooltip is more useful for you to open on the calendar.
Pop-up:
The pop-up appears horizontally and with a larger area to display the data of the event, so it is easier to distinguish the important info. If you have a big text for your description, the pop-up is a better solution to show it all in one place.
